We'd like to take an anniversary trip to Mexico and/or Central America-
any area with worthwhile Mayan historical sites to visit. What
reccommendations can you make considering the following:

We don't speak Spanish.

I need my meals dairy free as well as gluten free.

We like the idea of staying at one or 2 places, where we know we can get
meals, and taking day trips from there.

What resorts, cruises, etc do you recommend. (Neither of us expects to
like the cruise atmosphere, but we like the idea of knowing where to
eat!)

We have never been South of the U.S. and really don't know what to
expect.

Thanks,
Karen
