A friend sent me a little article that she saw on AOL about celiac disease. I can't post it here due to copyright, but some of the more interesting points I'll summarize below. It was mostly an informative piece about CD and mentioned the Wal-Mart news that was posted to the group earlier and the info below. (I checked the archives and it doesn't look like this information has been posted yet.) It's too bad that none of these places are in my neighborhood.

Hannaford (grocery chain in New England) is expanding it's gluten free lineup.
Whole Foods Market now lists 800 gluten-free items.
Wegmans supermarkets in NY has a "Celiac Recipe of the Week."
