Hi All--
Thanks so much to those who replied to my question! My original question was whether or not anyone knew of a celiac magnetic "ribbon" being sold - of the kind being displayed in support of our troops. Wow, I don't know where I've been (haven't been to our local support group for several months) as there seems to be a number of options out there. Perhaps Alabama is a bit slow to catch on, but then there were a number of people who wrote asking for this summary. Here's what I learned (my comments are in brackets):
_____
I think someone on the delphi forums had talked about making some, but I haven't heard anymore about it. I believe at celiac.com you can purchase a bumper sticker for $1.00. I made my own Celiac car ribbon with the magnetic sheets for the computer. Just find the design you want, add your wordings, print it and cut it out.
_____
I got one last week...they have been out for some time at The Dietary
Shoppe in Philly....here is the link

_____
The Gluten Intolerance Group in Seattle has window cling stickers for automobiles. They go on the inside of a window and are not gummy, but cling and stay in place quite nicely. I believe the saying is "Do you know someone that has Celiac Disease." I could tell you more about the saying if I would go out and look at my car.
If you go to www.gluten.net, click on Publications, then scroll to the Order Blank, you will see the window cling stickers listed.
I really like mine and I do not have to worry about the glue sticking to my windows.
[I wanted to view the window stickers, but they aren't shown on GIG's web site]
_____
Go to www.cafepress.com and search on celiac disease. They have exactly
what you are looking for and perhaps even more.
_____
The Gluten-Free Trading Company in Milwaukee has a copyrighted bumper sticker that has the store name and says "Celiac--The Common Condition that's rarely diagnosed". Very simple and eye catching design.
My friends know which silver van is mine!
_____
Try dietaryshoppe.com...I bought mine for $2.99!
_____
Thanks, again, everyone!
Cheers,
Ayn in Alabama
