I started the Paleodiet at the tail end of 2004, but found that I had to
give it up. I still love the idea, and I personally don't find it hard to
stick to, but I find it simply unfeasible to throw away all the "bad" food I
have in my apartment (I have lots of rice and pasta that it would just be a
colossal waste of money to throw away - money I can't afford). Has anyone
else run into this difficulty? I've been trying to eat some unpaleo food we
have in the cabinets at each meal to get rid of it, and in the mean time not
buying any new unpaleo food. This is making me feel rather ill though.
Would it be better to try to eat all this unpaleo food at once and get it
over with (eg, lots of consecutive meals heavy on rice to use it up), or
would it be better to just keep it around and spread out the eating over a
long period of time (eg, rice twice a month)? Thanks for any suggestions!

-Elizabeth

P.S. I introduced myself back in november or december, but I've mostly
refrained from commenting since then, since I've been anything but paleo
