Hello List,
I have tried to remove a very irritating program from my computer with
limited success and I hope someone can help. I installed Paltalk the other
day but it kept popping up at startup and no matter what I did it still kept
running at startup so I went to add/remove in the control panel and removed
it. I noticed after the removal it was still in my system tray so I went to
msconfig and unchecked it. It is still in the system tray. I went back to
msconfig and made sure it was still unchecked. It wasn't it had checked
itself again. It won't stay unchecked even though the program has been
removed. I have searched for paltalk and palstart in my registry and have
removed all traces and it is still there. I did a search for it and have
found palstart.exe in my documents and settings all users. I tried to
remove it and it says I can't delete it because it is right protected or it
is in use. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for any help, Judy
