Hello All:
I took a call from someone with the following situation:
When she initially turns on her computer, JAWS starts up at the login
prompt so it is running for her to enter her password. However, she
shares her computer with two other individuals that are sighted and, of
course, don't use JAWS. When one of these two individuals logs off of
the computer, JAWS is not running. She is unable to tell where her
login name is so she can enter in her password.
Is there a way to get JAWS to start up at the login prompt whenever
someone not using JAWS logs off of the computer? I tried two things
which did not work. First, I made sure the alt-ctrl-j shortcut key was
set up and tried pressing it at the login prompt to get JAWS running.
Secondly, I copied the JAWS shortcut from under the all programs->JAWS
sub menu into the startup group for all users and this did not work
either.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, or, can you tell me if what I'm
trying to do can be done?
Thanks,
