Try Pop Up Stopper (free Edition) from www.panicware.com. I have used it
for years. Along with the pop up prevention in Firefox, I rarely have a
pop up.
After installation, right click on the tray icon and go to preferences
and set the program to not have a message come up and/or a beep each
time a pop up is blocked.
