Concerned Gambians, Friends of Gambia and Various irate USA based
Journalists, will be meeting to address and protest the criminal acts toward Gambian
Journalists, Students and Opposition party Leaders. The recent fire bomb of
Radio1FM and Independent Newspaper [twice]; constant harassment, arrest and
detention of Journalist and Opposition Party Leaders; Last weeks Assassination of
Journalist Deyda Hydara and that of ex-Minister koro Ceesay; The daylight
massacre of 14 students and a Journalist, Omar Barrow on April 10-11, 2000, by
the predatory military regime of Yahya Jammeh, must be challenged and stopped
forthwith.
Renown Gambian Journalists and Politicians, will be there to plea their case
to various International groups.
