Rhonda,

A pastor friend of mine lost his wife to cancer at age 45 I think she was.
I believe this man to be one of the most sincere men of God and a real
lover of God's heart and will. I had asked him "why" stuff happens as I
was seeking out some answers of my own at the time. He said we can pray, we
can do all we can do as humans and His children, but in the end God is
indeed soveregn and we just don't know the answers now. It sounds like a
cop out, it sounds like a cliche, but nonetheless it is true. We naturally
think of any given situation from our perspective if we had all the power
in the universe to do anything, and of course we know we would heal this
young lady, but the fact is we don't have all the power and we also don't
have all the knowledge either. So why pray? Because we are told to remain
in a state of prayer constantly and indeed pray in faith.
