Hang in there. Things have a way of turning around. Sometimes even if we
do nothing. Sometimes we can do something to speed that process up, and
sometimes there is nothing we can do to speed that process up and need to
be patient. Regarding your boyfriend, maybe whispering sweet nothings,
sour dumplings, or a surprise party or who knows. If it is bothersome,
perhaps just ask why he did that. Answering with "nothing" is an unwise
answer which only leaves the asker to speculation which 9 out of ten is
worse than the truth. I'm not one for mind games, so I tend to bring stuff
out to deal with it and move on, but that is me *grin*. May God bring you
