it's a duel bander but stay away from it at all cost. Not accessible at all,
and they're all lemons. Look at the reviews on eham.net at all the problems
and then let me tell you I know 3 people that have them and we had one at
the EOC, of the 4 total, 3 of them have broke just after 1 year old. If you
want an icom mobile the IC-208 is much better but stay away from the 2720H.
We didn't even break in the one at the EOC yet when it broke.

Subject: ICOM 2720!!!

Hi List;

Is anyone familiar with the ICOM 2720?

Is it a dual-band vhf/uhf mobile transceiver.

I'll wait to hear from you.

Can it use speech and, if it cannot, can you get a software program to keep
the frequencies and other information in a file?

Thanks
