The Kenwood TM-G707A will fit your needs perfectly. Speaks PL tones with the
VS-3 board installed and is very blind friendly. I've had mine for almost 4
years and run it hard at times and it's still going. I get great reports
with it too.

Subject: Question about Accessible 2m/70cm Mobile Radios

Hi.

Does anybody have any thoughts as to what is the most accessible 2 meter
and 70 cm mobile radios out there? I am especially considering ease of
programming PL tones, etc. The ability to cross-band would be a nice plus,
but the ability to program PLs without sighted intervention is critical
because it would be used in a household where there are no sighted
occupants, unless we can train the guide dog to do it!
