If you can find a nice Canadian, a talking multimeter can be had for
around $40. I just got one, but I haven't put batteries in it to try
yet. Looks like a nice enough meter, certainly not a precision
instrument but good enough; comes with a carrying case and test
leads. Looks like it measures, voltage, resistance, current, AC line
frequency, continuity, capacitance, I think that's all. Not bad for
$40, if you can find a Canadian to get you one--it got written up in
the Handi-Ham eLetter several weeks ago, and I don't have the name of
the store where you can get this thing, but whatever, it isn't
available here far as I have been able to ascertain. So how 'bout it
Colin? Can you get one for Danny?
