Dave, 1.  The stock mike does not have the PF keys.  2.  The ts480
comes with a power supply cord.  One end has two wires for connection
to a supply.
3. If the supply provides 23 amps it is more than adequate.
4.  If you do cw, absolutely get a cw filter along with the speech board.
5.  Get prices with both installed.  Then compare from company to company.
