Hi Rich.

No, the IF level DSP eliminates the need to buy filters, and it seems to
work quite well. I just bought the VS3 board with it.

Well, I don't know that I got a terrific buy on it, but I was looking at a
couple of things. I had lots of friends around that could help me install
the speech board and help me tactilely mark the polaritiy on the power
cord, I didn't have to wait around for a UPS truck or have it shipped to
work and then call a taxi so I could get it home, and since I like having
dealers at our hamfests, one sure way to keep them coming back is to give
them some decent business.
