I did a google search on the icom 7000.  No price, but is not yet type
accepted, they are saying late August.  No mention of what all the
synthesizer says, but does have a fairly large display that can act as a
small scope and so forth, so I'm guessing this isn't a cheap radio.  They
also said it will not replace the 706.
