This most likely refers to your sound card drivers.
Try the Windows update site, or visit the sound card manufacturer's site.

I am attempting to use Audacity 1.2.3. (downloaded free from =
soundforge.net) to record and burn music to CD's.  Every time I attempt = to
run it, after about 30-90 seconds, my computer reboots.  I received a =
message that I must to update the drivers.

My computer was built for me.  I am running XP Professional and have 512 =
memory. =20
