Karen,
Pit bulls are out lawed in Denver and the subburb this happened in, just
upgraded their pit bull law but it won't go into effect until January. The
problem is, many people were allowed to be grandfathered into the Denver law
so anyone owning one and getting it registered, could keep it at home. No
one in Denver can purchase and own a pit bull in the city or county. There
have been 8 such attacks by pit bulls in the Denver metro area, they said on
the news tonight, in the last two years. One happened a few months ago out
in the country and a woman was watering her animals on her farm and her
neighbors pit bull came up behind her, attacked, and killed her. Even so,
come Lord Jesus.
Phil.
