A fast acting, acid resistant prolyl endoprotease enzyme with new
promising implications for a celiac "pill" has been isolated from
Aspergillus niger fungi. Future studies as an oral supplement are
needed. I already take digestive enzymes with meals derived from
Aspergillus (Enzymedica Vgest) along with betaine HCl to control food
allergy and find them quite effective. If this new enzyme were added to
the Vgest formula, I'd have the perfect formula. See:
