I've been GF & on this list for nearly 5 years. I've observed that most of
the information about medications containing gluten are simply rumors rooted
in our paranoia & hysteria about the omnipresence of our arch enemy --
gluten! (Really, who can blame us???) I have yet to hear of a REAL
bonafide incident of an OTC medication or prescription medication actually
containing gluten.

I decided years ago to ignore the issue & take whatever OTC or prescription
medication I need. I've taken quite a few different drugs during this time
and have never, ever gotten a gluten reaction from a single one. And I'm
one of those who is exquisitely sensitive.

Mind you, I have gotten sick from food products that aren't accurately
labeled, but neither OTC or prescription meds have ever caused me a problem.

Some of you may think this careless & lax. Maybe it is. But my life is
complicated enough as it is w/o stressing over every pill I take. This
practice so far works for me.
