Dear Listmates,  Yes, it would be nice if we could just
relax and stop worrying about getting gluten in
prescription and OTC meds.  From my painful experience, we
can't.  Twice I have been made very ill(hepatitis and
nausea, my usual gluten reactions)from meds.  One time it
was a generic med made byWatson Pharmaceuticals.  The
second time was when Ambien switched to Sanofi
Pharmaceuticals.
      I would be interested to know others' experiences in
Emergency Rooms or other hospitalizations when the gluten
in meds is an issue.   Sharon
