Best Data used to make a modem set designed for linking 2 or more pcs via
dial up.  It was called Home PC Link.  You buy a 'Gateway' card plus a
'station' card for each extra pc.  Don't recall the wiring, I think all
connected to phone line and it transmitted signal from 'gateway' modem over
your in-house phone lines to 'station'.  If you can't find info on web, I'll
check my basement for more info.  Don't recall if it was v90 or v92 modem,
it was definitely 56k.
Software was included for installation on all linked pcs.
