Hi,

Well I have looked on handiham.org and they author a "synthesized amateur
radio lone to members". I have never heard of synthesizers built in in a
radio. Must be cooll to have one, but after I get my license I think I'll
ask them for one. They say that they cant give you a specific model like a
icom 520, but they can give you specific features.

More questions:

I live in the woods. And I have a headset that is wireless. It can go up 125
ft. Can I create my own radio station with low power, 5 w or so, and make a
home radio station on a amateur radio used frequency? I have called up a
radio club, they said yes. Surely, the fcc does not monitor the woods. If
they would they would of already sentenced me to jail for using no license.
If this is possible, I would broadcast hungarian radio programs in hour
home and arround the property we live in. I know this would be a question
that I can ask later, but I am just so curious about amateur radio and fcc
licensing. Because part 97 says that the amateur service is only available
in areas that are monitored by the fcc. This could also lead to the
possibility that I might not be able to got my license since this area is
not monitored by fcc.
