Hi.

I have one of those, but it has seen enough operating time that I can't
keep it on the air. The PL deck keeps cutting out. A friend looked at it,
and informed me that the lithium battery is starting to leak too, so I have
to get it out of there and get a new one. The '751 is a good radio. If I
can get it fixed up, I plan to hang onto it.

I did, however, take the plunge and buy a TS2000S and I love it.
Ok, maybe I feel a little guilty for spending that much on toys, especially
when I know there are a few things I should be fixing on the house. I
suppose if I were married, I would be in deep stuff. But, I think it is a
great radio. And, I agree with whoever said that it blows the '706 away!
