Were you ever tested for PCOS? I have that and Saw Palmetto controls the
hormones, blocks androgens and therefore less hair growth.
Also, the more carbs & sugar you eat, the more unwanted hair you'll get with
pcos. Cut out the rice, potatoes and oats for a couple of weeks and see if
things change. They convert to sugar and that's what creates the unbalanced
hormones.

Subject: Oily skin
My skin and hair are very oily, and I have extra
facial hair that I have to pluck. I take a
contraceptive that improves these problems but am
going off of it. I'm guessing these problems are
hormonally related, but don't know what I could change
in my diet to help. I haven't eaten sugar for several
years. I do eat rice, potatoes and oatmeal on a
regular basis, but no dairy. Anyone have any dietary
suggestions or ideas about what could improve this?
