>>I was under
the impression that we are all the same race. We have some physical
characteristics that take up very little space in our genetic code. In the
big picture, our skin, hair, and eye color is not a determiner of any
consequence in the genetic make-up of our species.<<
Manuel, I have tried to be as specific as possible in my use of language to
avoid the suggestion
that people with different physical characteristics are from different races.
My use of the term
"racial", while colloquial, is probably not accurate, as you are well to point
out.
However,
If our skin, hair and eye color became SO different and distinctive by living
in different
environments, would it not also be fair to ask if these differences could
somehow be related to
diet? I've tried a few different ways to ask the question, but nobody really
seems to be offering
any info, so I'm going to move on.
Mike
