I sailed on silver girl once but instead of heroin, it was speed. The
silver part is a direct reference to the needle itself when I V drugs are
used regardless of its type. I was high for about 24 hours. The rush from
the hit, the injection, was so powerful, I nearly passed out and was on the
edge of unconsciousness for probably 30 minutes and couldn't even move so I
laid on my back on a friend's basement floor. Then, when the rush finally
backed off a little, I felt physically the most powerful I have ever felt.
I felt as if I could run for days, bend a steel bar between my teeth, and I
also felt as though my mental faculties had jumped off the I Q scale. I
only shot up that one time but from then on, I swallowed every amphetamines
capsule I could lay my hands on. during my ninth LSD drip, I got stoned on
speed about 8 hours earlier that day. Not a very good combination. I wrote
about this last LSD drip in my online autobiography. I'm fortunate to be
alive today. Most speed freaks back then, well, and even today, have about
a two year life span. One day I swallowed the same type of speed I shot up
with a friend in his basement. Well, I mixed it in pop, Coke I think it
was, and it was horrible tasting. It gave me almost a similar rush as the
needle had months before. There was one problem. I had given up the drugs
and started living for the Lord again. I had also just met Sandy. It was
days after my seventeenth birthday. As soon as the speed hit my brain, a
powerful conviction of sin rolled over me that was more powerful than the
high. I never did drugs again. Besides, when Sandy found out, she
threatened to leave me. Of course, she was a drunk at the time but she was
older than me. I'm just kidding, sort of, but there is a measure of truth
to that last part. She'll have to tell her own testimony.

Phil.
