Hi Bob, in my experience, and I've used all models, if you can find one,
either the original or the number two model are ________Much Much better
than the model three, on both FM and AM, for both sensitivity and
selectivity. The Three, is undoubtedly the ____worst in all phases of the
model, _________except for the fact that you can get a little better/wider
frequency response on AM by using the switches...but you can also, on the
earlier two, tune the radio a little off the center of the carrier, and get
mighty good response as well. To Each His Or Her Own, though, and the 3
sells new, for a good bit less than the earlier two models sell for used.
Danny.
