For those old time Coast To Coast listeners, I happen to hear Art Bell on 83
40 side band Christmas eve later in the evening when 75 meters would be
propagating. He was parked at a camp ground some place for the Christmas
weekend. I just tuned on the frequency when he was signing off for a couple
of hours but it sounded like he was using the new wide band side band
processing. In fact, that's why I stopped on his signal because I thought
something sounded different. Anyhow, in all these years, that's the first
time I've heard him. Of course, I've never look for him but there he was
enjoying Christmas in his RV with his wife and cats. At least I think he
has said the cats go with them.

Phil.
