the nextech talking multi-meter will give you polarity as long as there is
voltage or current...just says minus in front of the read out value if the
probes are reverse polarized.
Are you trying to check polarity on the 120 VAC outlets to make sure all
equipment is plugged in with correct polarity?
Or are you trying to correctly polarize all audio connections?
If it is the latter, i am not sure any meter will check that sort of
polarity for you.
