That's a pretty extreme position to take with respect to Yahoo Groups. I
maintain lists there and it is not necessary to ever actually log into Yahoo
in order to subscribe or unsubscribe from any list there. You only need
sighted assistance once to create an account in any case. Yeah, it's a pain
in the butt, but it's also a completely justifiable and (unfortunately)
necessary way to cut down on the crooks and chiselers. Also, my experience
with Yahoo has been outstanding when I've requested their support people to
assist in creating an account, so a sighted assist probably isn't required
at all. I've had bad experiences with SmartGroups and Freelists, especially
when attempting to change e-mail addresses. The fact is that from a
technical point of view, Yahoo is still the best deal in town despite its
shortcomings.

Hi.
Let me know where it ends up going. I've had fairly good results with a
list that I maintain over on smartgroups.
I echo the comment that Mike made about yahoogroups. They make it
difficult enough for folks using screen readers because of their anti-spam
measures that I would probably end up leaving the list.
