Hello Mat. Well I am not sure the D X 77 is the way for you if you want to
take it down often. As I remember it comes in about six or seven parts
which you just slide together and clamp tight. They say, don't use radials
because it has four radials at the bottem. They have two bolts in each one
and you could just take one of the bolts out and fold them up. You don't
have to mess with any traps, they are all assembled on the sections. When I
had mine, I used about a ten foot pipe, one and a quarter inch and dug a
hole and put it in the groundabout three feet. The ant is made so you can
put a pipe in the bottem and swing it down for work or what ever. They have
a D X 88 which covers 80 meters but I have heard bad comments about that
ant. the ant. is about thirty long, tall and it withstood a 60 M P H wind
with out any damage. Sorry for the long book. Ed K7UC
