oh, believe me, I use hobby only on this list and with close friends and
once in a while with people getting in to ham radio, other than that, I use
the word service.

It's not a hobby, it's a service. Somebody pointed that out on the list
earlier this week, but it bears repeating. The frequencies that we use are
far too valuable to be set aside for a hobby. Don't forget it when
commenting to the FCC, or anyone else in the government.
