What ever holds the fan on the back of the unit can loosen at points so just
gently push it in and see if that makes a difference. If not, I really
wouldn't worry about it mine makes noise as well. It stabilizes after a
while and the noise usually occurs if you have not keyed up the radio for a
time. Also it depends what your radio is resting on. If you change that, it
could make a minimal difference. As long as it's not an overbearing sound
affect for you, you can rest assure that nothing is compromising the radio
and it's operation. I've talked to others with the same radio who have
encountered such thing, and as long as they haven't reported anything
discouraging about the fans, I'll assume that no harm is coming to the rig.
