I need a Linux expert for this problem. A person I know has a laptop and
installed a Netgear WG511 PC card adaptor. He runs both Windows XP pro and
Linux (don't know what version). The card is recognized under both OSs and
will connect to the access point using Windows. Under Linux, however, the OS
reports the card as not ready. What diagnostic steps can I recommend to him
to get this card working? Any help with driver configuration would also be
appreciated if that is appropriate.

Thank you for any help.

Peter
