Thank you to Gary and Al for the search hit on ZDU. Interesting how you can
find things by changing a bit what you are looking for. Mystery solved. A
while back, I needed to extract some files from an old CP/M archive that was
compatible with DU (an old Disk Utility). Apparently, something of ZDU still
was locked in my registry and interfered with network browsing. All is now
fixed thanks to your help.
