I have not read the book yet, though I did watch his Berkley lecture.  In
the lecture he focused mainly on excessive carbohydrate consumption as a
cause of obesity and related ills such as diabetes and a light touch on
heart disease. 

In the book does he refer to cancer at all?  For me, that is where the
natural fruits and vegetables come in: for their phytonutrients.
