Water fasting is physiologically different than other types of cleanses. I
did it for 2 reasons. 1. I wanted a detox and 2. I wanted to get my body
itnto fat burning mode.

Many of the fasting specialists feel it it better to do one 3+ day fast less
often fasting once a week. I don't remember the extact reasons. One of
them was that you get certain detox benefits after the third day. They did
not recomend fasting one day a week.

David

I did a 7 day and then a 10-day cleanse beginning of last year. After each
one I broke it with avocado and some sardines in olive oil. I felt fine.

What was your reason for fasting - just out of curiosity? I try to fast one
day a week and it's hard for me. I am trying to fast today and I am already
hungry. My stomach is growling as I am typing this and I just got up.
