Karen,

The situation with money is no easy thing.  Sandy and I have been so bad off
financially so many times, I've lost count.  Due to two business situations
I was involved with, I ended up filing for bankruptsy not once, but two
times in my life.  Not very pleasant and boy does the Enemy try and make you
feel bad when you are hardly making it each week or month.  So, Karen, you
are not alone in your feelings.  It is, I hate to say it, a matter of trust.
This is an area of my life I am in the baby learning stages.  You would
think, after walking with the Lord for 48 years, I would be much wiser in
this area of life and although I have, in the last year or so, learned a
great deal more than I ever knew before, I am still a long ways away from
where I need to be.  Like I said, this is an area the Enemy loves to use to
beat up on us so keeping that in mind first is half the battle.  trusting
the Lord and believing in His Word is about all of the rest of it.  However,
there is another part of it that we are responsible for.  I don't mean you,
I mean we as the body of Christ praying for you.  I hate to say this, too,
but Jesus said it to me one night when I was praying.  He said, You will be
rich.  Unfortunately, he did not say when I would be rich but the feeling
came with the Word that He was referring to money.  If I were rich now,
Karen, I would do financially what I always dream of doing about helping
people.  Talk is cheap, I know, but I will try and remember to pray about
your specific needs along these lines.  If you will email me off the list
and tell me more details, I'll pray in more detail about your situation.
