Someone yesterday asked about using silicone baking pans for GF baked goods. I had forgotten
when I answered about a silicone pastry brush I purchased recently at Crate and Barrel, but then I
hadn't used it until last night. These brushes are terrific!! Yes, they're a bit funky looking, but they
transferred the sauce I was putting on my main course beautifully. Plus you can get them perfectly
clean when washed (I threw mine in the dishwasher). And if I recall correctly, they are inexpensive (I
think $2.99).
If you don't have a totally GF household, these are a wonderful addition to your kitchen stash. No
more keeping brushes separate (GF and non-GF). Mine old bristle brushes just got dumped into the
trash!
Happy baking.....
Joy
