Hi
Really do appreciate your input, I guess from the replies I have received so far
I didn't paint a very clear picture.
First I am in the midwest(USA) and I myself am a licensed Life and Annuities agent.
I applied with my own company. And the policy specifically said rated up for Celiac!!!
I am 50 and was only diagnosed a little more than a year ago. BUT....as with most
have had unexplained or misdiagnosed health issues for many many years.
I have severe osteopenia (30% of my hips are gone) and degenerative disk disease
(lost two already) in my back, that they are contributing to the fact that I have celiac.
But according to some I've heard from I am lucky it was only a 25% rate up as some
have had as much as 100% rate-up and just plain DENIED coverage!!!
Nancy
