Summaries take a long time to compile and post. I appreciate those who do this service for each of us.
On June 23 a summary of breads was posted. I noticed Sami's Bakery in Tampa. Florida was listed. It seemed to me there had been a previous posting a while back. They do have a website and the phone number is listed.
Today I called them & inquired about their bread being gluten free. The reply was there is no gluten in the bread. Knowing the problem we had with DeLand Bakery, I questioned about other grains being used in the same facility. He replied that there is a notice on the wrapper that the bread is made in a bakery that uses wheat. Flour can and does become airborne. Cross contamination is a real problem for some of us, including me. Thought this situation needed to be clarified.
Best Regards,
Gladys Ward
