PCBUILD Digest - 22 Aug 2006 to 23 Aug 2006 (#2006-207)i'm considering the purchase of an external hard drive and have found a "special offer" of a 3.5" , 300Gb, usb2 by a make i've never heard of and don't seem to find on google, called compass (model cphd300usb2) sold by a reputable hypermarked chain here in italy, called unieuro.
can anyone advise me on what features i should be looking for?
my os is xp and i would like to back up my system. i have applications on disk c (30Gb - half full) and documents, mail, music and photos on disk d (120Gb- 15%full). what would the best back up procedure be?
it is priced at 109 euros, about 85 dollars.
thanks for any advice,
laurence grignolo
