Essa,
Reading through your recent pieces, I can sense that you are so down that you feel like you are not going to go down a lone. When I first approached you on the Gambian business man you tried to assassinate on the L, you decided not to talk about that again. You have been working on trying to find out who is Alieu sanayng and you couldn’t believe that I am Alieu Sanyang.
Let me tell you this, I am no one but Alieu Sanyang. I am a 44 year old man born in Alkali Kunda in Badibu. I have no connection with Jammeh or his regime. I am a Gambian by birth and now an EU citizen. I lived in Europe for over ten years before moving to FL six years ago. If you know of any me from Alkali Kunda, ask them who I am. I am no fake person. You have tried to trace my IP address and accusing people whom I never met or even knew of. I have always thought that the Gambian embassy was in NY until you said it is in Maryland.
Anyway, all said and done, you have made more interested in all the names you mentioned, and I have been trying to get some contacts as much as I could to talk them. What I cannot get is how much upset you seems to be instead of defending your record as the former Ambassdor. You really went to the lowest level to show how you and a Tijan Ceesay and Mendy had at the time of your service. I and am sure anyone else here knows that you like anyone serving under this government did a lot of things. Whether they are all acceptable or not is open to discussions. I am not going to judge you and I will leave you with your own conscience. I know that this is not the first time on this List that you have been accused of reporting people to lose their jobs or get involve in security matters in the Gambia.
I know that I do not know you that much to measure your achievements and I am sure to be posted to all the places you were posted to, there must have been some loyalty and may be hard work or a very good relation with Jammeh to take you to where he took you to.
All said and done, why is it that when your job or actions that may have not even been true where questioned, you decided to attack people you used to work with. Those people are very innocent of my writings and had nothing to do with me. And to those people, I say to them, I am very sorry if my questioning of Essa Sey as the former ambassador has in any way offended what you may have read from him here.
Essa, I am not going to tell you how many private emails I received hence you being too smart already realized that I was going to say how many I got. None the less, if I should ask you some questions again to do with your “honorary” service to Jammeh, do you remember names like Pat Johnson, Sirra (NY) , Rohey and some other names you may have got in touch with? I have received some very damaging information on you and I would not want to publicize them, but please seize from attacking people who knew nothing about me.
Among the emails, I received; one of them asked me to ask you if you remember receiving a phone call from a lady who you asked some personal questions about her visa? Do you remember who that lady was? Is this not the same lady you are now accusing Jammeh of? This was what Ebou Jallow was trying to tell you. You tend to be too slick. You interviewed the lady and told her certain things about you as the ambassador that is not worth putting on the List. More over these are all just personal allegations which may all be meant only to embarrass you and that is not my intention. So on the whole it was yourself who probed the lady to tell you about Kujabi and Jammeh and now you have the guts to accuse Tijan Ceesay of. All that I wanted to find out was whether the reasons I heard for your recall were right or not? If you are going to tell us that your recall was just because you were a very nice person, I think we will be very suspicious of everything. And you are yet to tell any of us in
this forum why you were recalled. I know it is not easy for you hence you went too far with this government, but don’t you think than any Gambian civil servant who has been terminated we do deserve answers? This is nothing personal. There have been more firings and hiring in this government that I ever knew of, so what is wrong with asking? I for one will ask any fired Gambian civil servants to tell us why they were fired. I for one knows that not all those Jammeh may fire are worth firing, and it helps us as a nation. The Jammeh regime came to power with all intentions to stop the corruption and nepotism that was going on, and guess what? How far did we go as a nation to achieve that? You be the judge. These are some of the reasons anytime Jammeh fires anyone, I am so curious to know why. However, none of them who have been fired talks to us why they were fired. And this is one thing I can never get.
So please allow me to ask you again. Why was your service terminated? If it had to with the allegations I wrote about that last time, just say it. If not, again, just say it and let us move on before your next “avalanche”. Ebou Jallow have wrote a scenario of things that you also need to answer to, so just do us a favour and the nation by coming forth with the answers. We will have the same questions for any other person we have on this List who had been fired by this regime. So not take thigs too personal.
Thanks a lot.
Alieu Sanyang.

I think we need to clarify some few things and establish the sequence of events leading up to your departure from the Gambian Embassy in DC. Here are the facts as far as I know:
1. Someone at the embassy under your watch reported my name amongst a list of other Gambians to the US authorities alleging my engagement in subversive activities.
2. During your tenure as the Gambian ambassador you made overtures for me to reconcile with Yaya Jammeh, and intimated that Yaya through Abdoulie Kujabi asked that I write an "Apology Letter"... I sent you an open letter first before anybody else. This letter became distorted and quoted out of context throughout the entire Gambian media.
3. Months later you were relieved of your duties as the Gambian Ambassador during Yaya's visit the moment I called to discuss my plans to meet Jammeh. Your emphasis for my cancelling the meeting was confusing enough nevertheless I insisted to go and meet Jammeh NOT to "apologize" as you call it but to discuss other issues.
4. Subsequently, I visited the Gambian embassy only to learn from Pa Njagga Mendy, and Tijan Massaneh Ceesay that you have been recalled and that you were the one making reports to the US authorities. I was even shown a copy of a letter you wrote to SOS Foreign Affairs (and copied to the NIA director, Abdoulie Kujabi) complaining about your staff amongst other things...
Essa I just want to set the record straight and level with you as a friend. Perhaps you too can help clarify as to why you were recalled and whether it has anything to do with the "list" sent to the US authorities.
Regards,
Ebou
