Thanks for this.  It's very interesting.  I heard on NPR this morning that
Jeffs' trial was starting, and that the focus was to be on the child abuse
issues, as it should be.  That's why I'm amazed that civil authorities and
the police weren't involved in this sooner.

From a civil libertarian standpoint, I can see the point of those who
support  bigamy or polygamy among consenting adults, but in my case, one
wife is enough, thank you very much!

Do you know if the report on Utah local and state electd officials views on
polygamy is available anywhere?  that would be extremely interesting.
