I listen to my voltage oscillator across the SWR meter.  When it peaks the
output is where I want it.
The higher the pitch the higher the power out.
I can monitor audio settings with the ts480 audio monitor, Using the
equalizers and processor and mike gain.  That does not tell me output, but
it allows me to optimize what my transmit signal sounds like.
Remember in my pleasure with the ts480, that my previous rig was a drake C
line.  That is quite the technology leap frog.
