HI folks,

I used to hang one of those old cheapy radio shack cassette
recorders designed for data backup off my hf rig for
capturing important stuff off the air when needed. Natch
it's gone with the rest of that station's accessories.

DO they or anybody else still make such an animal as a cheap
mono cassette recorder with a line input? DOn't need stereo
and don't want to spend the bucks for one of those machines
that does nls book format 4 track unless the price is less
than $100 which isn't what's happening in that market.

I especially liked the rat shack machine because I was able
to remove the little cassette well door and have
verification that tape was rolling and I was therefore
capturing audio.
