Hi;
I haven't seen this list this quiet in months. I was looking through some
ts480 info that I've been accumulating and thought that someone could
clarify a point or two.

First, that have been concerns with low ssb output. Is this problem
corrected when you just upgrade the firmware or do you also have to make
changes in the service menus?

secondly, when looking at kenwoods website, I saw a number of downloads for
the 480 but it wasn't at all clear to me which was for software to control
the radio and which was to upgrade the software? Is there some logic that
I've missed?

finally, the radio comes with two brackets for the front panel but is there
also a mounting bracket for the main unit?
