Yes, to set the firm ware, the last step is a full reset of the
radio.  I know their is a way to write the menus to a file on your
computer and then restore them, but I haven't figured that out.  Only
took about fifteen minutes to re-set the menus.
I don't change much from the defaults.
Just the keying wait, pf button to read swr, automatic switch to cw
when I hit the paddle, and frequency align so that their is no change
from going from ssb to cw.
I also widen the AM to 5khz, and adjust the CW weight because it gets
funny around 30 wpm if I don't.
