Let me know, I think I figured it out but not sure.
The problem fixed it's self after turning off the power supply for about a
half hour, so it wasn't serious at all. Now as to what caused it, I
realized my 2 meter radio was plugged into an outlet on another circuit
through an extension cord. I had the metal d-104 mike on the 480, and I
think their might have been a bit of a ground loop, so that the connection
of both circuits through the metal cases of 2 meter radio and ts-480 mike,
confused the micro-processor in the 480. I put both rigs on the same power
strip, and we'll see. I can't recommend the radio highly enough for it's
price accessibility and features.
